Where does your money go?
PFPD always has multiple projects running simultaneously, so while we may attempt to elicit sponsorships for individual events those that are donating have the opportunity to direct their donation to specific areas of interest, or even just a general donation to the club itself to utilize as needed. Currently we are working towards funding our upcoming inaugural Fall Festival in November 2026! Sponsorship funds will be utilized to secure the venue, pay for trophies and ribbons, organize travel expenses and lodging for judges, cover the costs of insurance for the event, pay for advertising, and so much more. This is a large undertaking that we are hoping to make a reoccurring annual event that becomes a cornerstone of autumn celebration in the NE Kansas area!
Sponsorships are Tax Deducatable!
PFPD is a Kansas nonprofit corporation operating as a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization; our IRS recognition is pending. We host UKC dog events and community programs like flea clinics and dog-safety education for kids. Sponsorships of our Fall Fun Matches are detailed below and are generally deductible to your business as an ordinary advertising or marketing expense — we’ll provide a written acknowledgment of your sponsorship amount and benefits for your records.
Note that sponsorships are not charitable donations in the 501(c)(3) sense. We’re happy to provide our EIN and W-9 upon request.
