8/01/2026 Dock Jumping Try-It Day
We had an incredible time at DCC K9 Aquatics in Manhattan, KS for our first ever Dock Jumping Try-It day! Around 35 dogs, both dock pros and total newbies, got to splash on a warm, summer day. The weather was very kind to us and we had dozens of people ask when we're doing this again (and we definitely will)!
7/18/2026 Container-Mania FUNdraiser
Thank you to Camo Cross Dog Training for helping to host an exciting challenge of two 50-box container searches, and we were able to raise $424 dollars for Prairie Fire Performance Dogs to put towards hosting future events! Points were awarded (or stolen!) from competing teams depending on performance for things like correct calling of hides or faulting. Ties were broken by time elapsed and 40% of the entry money was returned to the payback pot which was awarded to our top teams - Carolyn Buono with Joy the Labrador, Beth Huddleston with Zira the Siberian Husky AND Iggy the German Shepherd,, Becky Meyer with Daisy the Labrador, Laura McGowan with Arlo the Labrador, Melissa Leytem with Morticia the Miniature Poodle, and Kimberly Richardson with Chuck the Beagle!
