UKC Weight pull

Committee Head: Sammy Hellums

Weight Pull is an rewarding sport where dogs tap into their natural desire to pull. With specialized harnesses that distribute weight safely and evenly over the strongest parts of their bodies, dogs tap into their natural drive and conditioned athleticism to pull weighted carts across a smooth track while their handler cheers them on and verbally encourages them. Dogs can stop pulling at any time during the events and are not forced in any way, shape, or form.

Purebred, mixed, big and small - even tiny chihuahuas! Any dog can compete and succeed in UKC Weight Pull as long as they enjoy it and want to pull!
